Mission: The FSC-PS CF (Foundation) supports the Urban Financial Services Coalition (UFSC) – Puget Sound Chapter by funding financial literacy, professional development and mentorship programs, as well as community and economic development programs for underserved communities. The Foundation also fiscally sponsors community organizations and programs, offers scholarships, and promotes minority business, entrepreneurship, workforce development, and economic empowerment programs external to the UFSC organization. Its objectives are: promote economic development and provide technical, educational, and advisory assistance to economically disadvantaged communities; provide scholarships to college bound students from economically disadvantaged communities who have expressed an interest in the financial services industry; and help educate and inform youth about the employment opportunities available in the financial services industry.
