The Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation (LAMVCF) charges a 5% annual administrative fee for its fiscal sponsorship program under the Local Impact Collective, which covers operational costs like financial management and staff time. For projects unable to generate revenue during their two-year contract, a minimum annual fee of $500 applies, with continued support contingent on active efforts to secure funding.

- Geographic: Developed by and/or directly benefiting the residents of the communities LAMVCF serves (Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, and/or Mountain View)
- Type of service
- Has an advisory group
- Minimum budget
- Other: Address a gap in the current tapestry of services available in these communities; avoid duplication of existing organizations; have committed leadership and an advisory board; demonstrate the need for the services you intend to deliver; have an initial budget; have initial funding or a good idea of how to generate revenue for your project (e.g., fundraising from individuals, grants, program revenue) and have a commitment to ongoing revenue generation;
have a thought-out business plan or strategy.
