Legends Animated is a 501(c)(3) worker self-directed nonprofit that provides collaborative opportunities to create independent animation while advancing the art form as a powerful storytelling medium. It fulfills this purpose by serving as a fiscal sponsor for animation worker cooperatives, co-producing mission-driven animated projects with other nonprofits and providing active guidance to creators interested in forming worker cooperatives. Legends Animated’s programs center on collaboration, creative agency and long-term sustainability for animation community members.
