Fiscal sponsorship fee:
The SIF requires a $25,000 deposit to establish a fund. The annual minimum fee is $18,000 for deposits of less than $360,000 annually. (The fee is collected through monthly payments of $1,500.) Then, when annual deposits exceed $360,000, the fund retains 5% of deposits from $360,000 to $499,999, after the annual fee is reached. Then, once annual deposits reach $500,000, the fund reduces its fee to 3.5% for any deposit exceeding $500,000.

  • Other: Programs applying for fiscal sponsorship with the Social Impact Fund are commonly focused on creating social change or making a meaningful impact to the community-at-large. Sponsored programs vary in budgets, bandwidth, geographic focus and missions. Programs should have a clear understanding of fiscal sponsorship structure, implement a strong fundraising strategy and provide examples of existing pledges/donors.

Organization description:
The SIF is organized to create a nonprofit vehicle to host charitable efforts, particularly for those programs that have not yet, or will not, gain a 501(c)(3) determination from the IRS. It serves as a fiscal sponsor for charitable programs that advance the social good and make a positive difference in the world-at-large.
